On Thursday 3rd December, Flomotion Live returns with an eclectic selection of quality live music and DJs. This month, giving a rare live performance, we welcome Architeq…
Architeq (a.k.a 23 year old Sam Annand) is originally from Dundee and releases music on Tirk Recordings. His debut single, Birds Of Prey, turned many heads last year with its fusion of unusual 80s synth sounds, disco, hip hop and dub.
Since then, Architeq has been featured on various compilation albums (including BBC Radio 1’s Mary Anne Hobbs’ latest) and released a number of stunning new tracks and remixes, including his own critically acclaimed Gold And Green album.
Flomotion’s Nick Luscombe and Nick Stroud (jazznotjazz) will DJing throughout the night, all set in the unique environ of Momo’s wonderful Kemia Bar. Moorish furnishings provide the perfect space and style for guests to listen to some of the most progressive music around. You can eat stuff, too!
Architeq will be joined for his Flomotion Live set by drummer Jerome Tcherneyan. This may be one of your last chances to see Architeq in such an intimate venue, so don’t miss this performance!
